you're probably here because you wanted to generate a memorable password. i'd argue you're in the right place.
i made this site because i wanted to make the best memorable password generator. i didn't do that, but i made a thing.
there are a lot of password generators online, all of which do a great job - most likely there are plenty that do a 'better' job than this site. i like to think the thing that sets this site apart is the way the passwords are memorable. yep, xkcd already came up with the 4-random-word-method, and i'll be honest, it was definitely inspiration for this site.
the way pswrd stands out is with its checkboxes.
(and [arguably] aesthetically pleasing design).
by using the checkboxes to 'hold' words, you get to be the creator of the password. you can make it your own. where others 'force' random passwords on you, pswrd lets you decide if you like the words used or if you want to change them up a bit.
the generated password is also editable - just click the combined phrase and add / remove / change to make it completely your own. it's definitely recommended that you do this to really make your password as strong as possible.
think of pswrd as a password inspiration tool.
it gives you a base. you make it your own.
